Our Services

Life can sometimes feel like a winding path, where the destination seems unclear and the road forward feels overwhelming. You might be feeling low, unsure of the next steps, or carrying a weight that you don’t want to share with those closest to you. It’s natural to feel hesitant about burdening others, yet it’s equally important to care for yourself along this journey.

Individual Counselling

Just like any journey, a relationship takes patience, courage, and a shared commitment to grow together. At times, it can feel like you’re stuck in a cycle of endless arguments or drifting apart, unable to connect as you once did. Even without conflict, things can feel “off,” and finding your way back may seem difficult.

Couples Counselling

Understanding Adult ADHD:

At Sagi Shalom Counseling Clinic, we understand that navigating the complexities of adult life can be challenging, especially when symptoms of Attention Deficit /Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) come into play. Formerly known as ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder), ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition that can significantly impact your daily functioning.

ADHD

At Sagi Shalom Counselling, we offer both group and individual supervision to support counsellors in every stage of their professional journey.

Clinical Supervision

At Sagi Shalom Counselling, we offer group psychotherapy for adults and a dedicated group for children, both utilizing creative methods such as psychodrama.

Group Psychotherapy

At Sagi Shalom Counseling you can connect with a therapist remotely. From the comfort of your own home, no matter where you live. This is especially helpful if you have a busy schedule, live far away, or find it overall easier to connect remotely.

Working with Netalie was a completely transformative experience, and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough to anyone seeking support.

As someone previously reluctant and apprehensive about counselling, Netalie provided the safe space that I needed to be able to open up and commit to the healing journey, and I couldn’t be more grateful, because the power of this work cannot be understated.

What is unique about Netalie is that she provides the empathy and compassion needed to face ourselves and our problems, whilst knowing when the time is right to challenge unhelpful thoughts or beliefs that we often don’t recognise in ourselves. She is somehow able to hold the weight of our heaviest burdens, and allow for lightness and humor when it’s needed!

Client Testimony

With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Netalie Shloim has had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages—adults, couples, children, and families. Her expertise in both adult and child therapy is particularly beneficial when addressing parental and parenting concerns. Dr. Shloim specializes in supporting those facing challenges such as eating disorders, addictions, depression, anxiety, trauma, and learning difficulties, including ADHD assessments.

Dr. Shloim is a member of several professional organizations, including the UK Counselling and Psychotherapy (UKCP), the British Psychodrama Association (BPA), and the Association for the Study of Obesity (ASO). She is a lecturer in the MA Counselling and Psychotherapy program at the University of Leeds, where she trains the next generation of counsellors.

How It Works

At Sagi Shalom Counselling Clinic, we believe that taking the first step toward support should be as smooth and welcoming as possible. Here’s how our process works:

Getting in Touch

When you reach out to us via our contact form or email, our lead psychotherapist, Dr. Netalie Shloim, will respond at a time that suits you. We understand that every individual’s journey is unique, and we’re here to listen.

Initial Consultation: FREE

During your first contact, Dr. Shloim will ask you some questions to gather essential information. This step ensures that we can provide the right support and help identify which therapist may be the best fit for your needs.

Scheduling Your First Appointment

We will schedule your first appointment. You will receive all necessary contact details and clinic addresses to make your visit as convenient as possible.

The First Session

Your first session is designed to be a comfortable introduction. It’s a chance for you to get to know your therapist and discuss your feelings in a safe space. You can share your thoughts, ask questions, and explore what you hope to achieve through therapy.

Ongoing Support

If you feel comfortable and wish to continue, we can arrange weekly or fortnightly sessions at a mutually agreed-upon time. Your journey is personal, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.
